2007 Chaparral 330 Signature
Chaparral's 330 Signature is a stylish and smart entrant into the mid-sized cruiser market. The innovation and quality speak for themselves. From the centerline transom door to the walk-through windshield to the well-appointed bow, and the accommodations below decks with a private master with vanity, it's obvious that a lot of thought and customer input went into this design.
SeaHorse is a fine example. She boasts a bevy of optional equipment. From her low hour (<300) upgraded 320 hp Volvo duoprop engines, reverse cycle heat and air, bow thruster, low hour (<200) Kohler generator, electric windlass, Raymarine Radar/GPS, and much much more, you'd be hard pressed to find a better equipped 330 Signature on the market.
Sea Horse is brand new to the market. She is scheduled for a complete detailing, top to bottom. Full photo sets to follow.

Boarding the boat at the large deep swim platform, you immediately notice the two transom lockers. Starboard has connections and storage for the 30 amp shore power cord plus cable TV hookups. There is also a washdown with hose stored there. To port is a roomy line locker which also houses a hot and cold hand-held cockpit shower.
Moving forward, she has a centerline transom door which accommodates C-shaped opposed seating creating a social space for the whole crew, plus a removeable dining table to starboard. To port is also a cockpit wetbar featuring a sink, storage and a cockpit fridge.
Forward is a roomy captain's seat with flip-up bolsters to starboard, a comfy companion seat to port and a center-line walk-through windshield for easy bow access.
The Sunbrella canvas bimini is integrated fore and aft with the tall, forward-raking electronics arch. This arrangement provides for full standing headroom throughout the cockpit without the need for a separate camper-canvas structure.
Forward of the windshield is the spacious, relatively flat foredeck, surrounded by a secure bowrail. Atop the rail is the Jabsco remote-controlled spotlight. The bow area is equipped with an electric anchor windlass with foot controls.
The boat also is equipped with full cockpit canvas, covering from over the windshield to the transom.
The well appointed helm features a Faria digital depth finder, remote spotlight controls, Clarion remote stereo control, Lewmar bow thruster control, Halon monitor panel, Jabsco spotlight control, switches for the Lenco trimtabs, and the Raymarine E80 GPS/Radar combo. Atop the dash is the Ritchie flush mount compass. Beneath the wheel is the Raymarine VHF radio.
The machinery is located beneath the cockpit floor via an electric hatch that raises the back deck. The switch is conveniently located at the dash. There is ample room forward of the engines to drop in and access all of the major service items. On the port is the hot water heater and generator. To starboard is the vacuflush head pump and holding tank. Forward are easily accessible pumps and valves and the Halon automatic fire extinguisher.
She's powered by twin Volvo 5.7 L MPI gas engines, putting out 320 hp each. They currently have approximately 290 hours on them. They are fresh-water cooled. The drives are the upgraded Ocean X series duoprops.
The Generator is a Kohler 5E with 189 hours on it.
The cabin features sleeping accommodations for five, including two in a private rear cabin. There's an enclosed head, and a functional convertible dinette. Going through the companionway you step down onto the rich teak and holly flooring. There is an enclosed head with shower to starboard. That bulkhead abuts the galley with two burner electric stove, sink with storage beneath, and refrigerator/freezer. Forward in the bow area is the C-shaped dinette which converts into a roomy double berth. Abaft of that to port is another settee with table which converts into a single berth. In the port rear corner is a door which accesses the private master, featuring an entry with full-standing headroom and a useful vanity with sink, and a double master berth arranged beamwise.
